Your Fire TV is the viewing device; the player is the app that opens your subscription. Keep those two roles separate when you set things up. Start with the exact Fire TV model and software version, because app availability can differ between generations.
Choose the right player for your model
Tell support the device model and choose our player where supported, or use a compatible player you already have. Follow the installation instructions supplied for that device. Do not enter a Downloader code found in an unrelated advertisement: a similarly named app may belong to someone else.
Add the access details exactly as supplied
Open the player and choose the login format included with your activation. A server address, username and password form one matching set. Copy the server protocol and port as provided, without adding a space. Allow the first channel and guide refresh to finish before trying playback.
Test before changing settings
Play an ordinary live channel, a film and a channel you watch regularly. Check sound, aspect ratio and subtitles. If one stream fails, try another before reinstalling the app. Close playback on a second device if your plan has one connection. An Ethernet adapter or a stronger Wi-Fi position may help an unreliable local connection.
Before you finish
- Device model and player confirmed
- Login copied without spaces
- EPG timezone checked
- One stream tested for several minutes
