IPTV Lux on Android TV & Google TV

A practical Android TV and Google TV setup guide covering player choice, account formats, remote navigation and a first-playback check.

Android TV, Google TV and Android phones can run different versions of an app. Choose a television interface designed for a remote rather than assuming the phone version will feel right on a large screen.

01

Install for the television

Use the Apps or Search area to find the supported player. Check its developer name and TV compatibility before installation. Where our own player is supplied separately, use the download instructions provided by IPTV Lux support. Google TV app availability depends on your country, account and hardware.

02

Create one clear profile

Give the profile a useful name, then enter either the supplied Xtream-compatible credentials or the playlist URL. Avoid mixing both formats in the same profile. Keep access details private: screenshots of a complete playlist URL can reveal your username and password.

03

Set favourites and guide time

After the catalogue loads, add a small selection of favourites instead of browsing every category each time. Verify the clock against a live programme and refresh the guide if necessary. Test remote navigation, pause and subtitles. Catch-up appears only on supported channels and players; it is separate from pausing a live stream.

Before you finish

  • TV-compatible app selected
  • One complete account profile
  • Remote navigation works
  • Guide time matches local time
Interfaces and app availability can vary by model, software version and region. Ask support for instructions that match your exact device.
